Appeal for witnesses and information following serious road traffic collision in Gosport

We are appealing for witnesses, information and footage following a serious single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle.

The incident, which occurred on Rowner Road, Gosport, at the junction with the Grange Road roundabout, occurred at approximately 12.30am today (Wednesday 22 April).

The rider of a grey Honda NSC 110, a man in his 30s from Gosport, suffered serious, potentially life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. He remains in hospital.

Officers are investigating the collision and have been carrying out extensive enquiries in a bid to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

As part of those enquiries, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision.

We are also keen to hear from anyone who recalls seeing the same rider and bike at the Brockhurst roundabout, at the junction with the A32, earlier in the evening.
